Guru Prasanna Kasthuri is a leading dance personality in the Indian Classical dance scene across USA and India. He was invited by leading dance companies of USA such as Rangoli of California, Arati School of Texas and from Europe such as Lasya Dance Company to train and perform. He has a Vidwath degree from India and has created a feat in dance by performing 24 hours marathon in 1986. He has trained more than 500 students since 1985. He has choreographed many dance dramas - such as - "War & Peace", "Cherishnu - The infinite", "Marriage of Subhadra", "Silambu - The Story of Anklet", "Shrungara nayakaru - The Romantic Heroes", "The elephant God", "Trailblazers" and many more. At present he is the artistic director of SOORYA DANCE COMPANY in Saint Louis.
