SHREYA DESIKAN

Shreya is a 10th grade honors student at Yorktown High School, NY. She has been learning Bhrathanatyam from Guru Kamala since 5 years of age and has grown as an artist under her guidance. Shreya had her Arangetram in June 2011, and has performed in several of Sri Bharatha Kamalalya's productions over the years. Shreya is learning vocal Carnatic music and had an opportunity to participate in the Cleaveland Aradhana festival last year. Shreya also enjoys singing with her school choir, playing tennis, and volunteering in the community.
